We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Office Administrator/Tutor Coordinator. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our administrative operations while also coordinating with our team of tutors to deliver exceptional educational experiences to our students. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely most days with the opportunity to come into the office twice a week. Please note that it is a requirement to be available on your work phone/whatsapp line on weekends in order to assist any student or tutor enquiries. Key Responsibilities:Office Administration:- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails/whatsapp messages-Reaching out to new student sign-ups to see if they require assistance with using the platform - Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and events.- Review Lesson recordings on the platform to confirm succesful lessons that took place- submit the number of hours each tutor completed to finance at the end of the month in order for payment to be processed- Post our VirTrivia Championship on our instagram story every Tuesday-Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.Tutor Coordination:Recruit, onboard, and train new tutors to ensure they meet our standards of excellence.Coordinate tutor schedules and assignments to meet student demand and optimize tutoring sessions.Act as the main point of contact for tutors, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.Monitor tutor performance and provide feedback and support as needed to ensure the delivery of high-quality tutorials.Student Support:- Assist students and their families with inquiries regarding tutoring services, scheduling, and technical support.- Gather feedback from students and parents to continuously improve our tutoring programs and services.- Collaborate with tutors to develop personalized learning plans for students based on their individual needs and goals.Communication and Collaboration:- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by effectively communicating with team members and stakeholders.- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and technology, to support company initiatives and projects.- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in online education to inform decision-making and innovation within the company.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, or a related field preferred.Prior experience in office administration, customer service, or educational coordination roles.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.Knowledge of online learning platforms and technologies is a plus.Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.Perks:Flexibility to work remotely for the majority of the week.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the education sector.Collaborative and supportive team environment.Professional development opportunities.
