ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments of workplace environments to identify potentialhazards and risks.Analyzeincident reports and trends to develop strategies for accidentprevention.Stayup-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations related tohealth, safety, and environmental standards.Ensurethe organization's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Developand deliver training programs on safety protocols, emergencyprocedures, and environmental awareness.Collaboratewith department heads to tailor training sessions to specific jobroles and hazards.Leadinvestigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses.Preparedetailed reports outlining root causes and recommend correctiveactions.Developand maintain emergency response plans.Conductdrills and simulations to test the effectiveness of emergencyprocedures.Fostera culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout theorganization.Implementinitiatives to encourage employee engagement in safety practices.Maintainaccurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, andincidents.Prepareregular reports for management on the status of HSE programsAny other duties as assigned by the HSSE SupervisorRequirement:Bachelor'sdegree in Environmental Science, or arelated field.Minimumof 3 years of experience in a similar HSE role.Proventrack record of successful implementation of safety and environmentalprograms.Certificationin Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) is highlydesirable.In-depthunderstanding of local HSE and EPA regulations.Familiaritywith risk assessment methodologies and incident investigationtechniques.Excellentverbal and written communication skills.Abilityto effectively communicate safety concepts to individuals at alllevels of the organization.Abilityto collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence positivechange.Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills.Abilityto think critically and develop effective solutions to complex HSEchallenges.
