Description:Managing accounting recordsEnsuring compliance with regulationsPublishing financial statementsOverseeing accounting operationsEvaluating and reviewing company processes to ensure safeguard of assets and reporting of performanceResponsibilities:Manage accounting recordsEnsure all transactions are accurately recorded in the in house accounting softwareCompliance with regulations and borrowing covenantsEnsure no breach of regulatory requirementsEnsure no breach of borrowing covenantsWhere there are dependencies work closely with colleagues to ensure compliancePublishing of audited financial statementWork with external auditors to ensure audit is completed on time with no adverse reportingReporting Requirements:Maintain and/or improve existing reports and develop new ones to meet stakeholders' requirementsEnsure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Provide analysis and interpretation to support evaluation of organizational activities.Provide organizational data in a number of formats including dashboards, graphs, charts and reports.Oversee accounting operationEnsure effective and efficient running of the finance function to ensure all month end reports are completed on time and accuratelyDesign and implement internal trainings to keep team updated and conversant with applicable accounting standardsRequirements:Qualifications:First Degree in Finance and AccountingICA/ CIMA/ACCAExperience:5-7 Years proven working experience as a financial controller.
