Agronomist

Responsibilities:Supervise the production of vegetablesImplementation of agronomic practices to produce maximum yield and quality Proper documentation of all agronomic practices including details of chemicals used and quantity.Proper diagnosis of pests and disease infestation and recommend appropriate mode of control Managing farm hands to do the right thing Ensure traceability in all practices from the production period right down to harvesting and packaging. Other duties deemed necessary for quality and quantity assurance Requirements:Degree/HND/Diploma in agriculture from a reputable institutionMinimum 2 years experience in greenhouse or open field vegetable production especially habanero pepper Ability to undertake proper diagnosis of pests and diseases related to vegetables and recommend appropriate intervention to control them Ability to use a computer ConditionsYou will work normal office hours Monday to Saturday (7:30 am-5:00 pm).
