System Analyst (Java, J2Ee, Over $50K)

The shortlisted candidate will be assigned to Government Department to take forward the design and development work for the implementation of projects under the IT strategy plan

Duties:

* Develop, configure and implement system applications in accordance to user requirements
* Perform unit testing, system integration testing and project implementation problem rectification
* Provide operational support and ongoing maintenance and enhancement after implementation, including troubleshooting of production issues
* Identify and communicate changes in scope, timing and technology solutions affecting specifications, test plans, implementation etc.
* Investigate and resolve technical issues
* Provide support to development projects throughout the project life cycle
* Document troubleshooting methodology and resolution steps
* Ensure codes are in compliance to standards

Requirements:

* Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent
* At least 3-5 years of experience writing code using languages such as (but not limited to) J2EE, Java, PL/SQL
* Hands-on experience with Java Struts, Spring and hibernate framework
* Experience of one or more full SDLC
* Experience in Agile Development environments
* Experience in Application Servers like WebSphere will be an advantage
* Good understanding of Software Testing methodologies, scripting and tools
* Good Understanding of RDBMS databases such as Oracle
* Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Hard-working and self-motivate with positive attitude
* A team-player with good communication and interpersonal skills
* HK permanent resident is required
