Job Description

Sales Management

Manage a portfolio of clients in industrial sectors
Perform product demos and presentations
Conduct performance analysis for individual and overall clients
Achieve sales targets specified as directed by management
Develop and track sales forecasts together with management

Qualification and Experience
The successful candidate for this role:
Should have a first degree preferably in the natural sciences, or chemical engineering from a reputable University.
Must have worked at least four (4) years after National Service in a technical sales, or project management role.
Must have the ability to develop client relationship and sales
Proficiency in French (spoken and written) will be beneficial
Experience working in a laboratory, a manufacturing or a treatment plant is required
Proficient in the use of MS Office suite – especially Excel, PowerPoint
Should be self-motivated, organized, and results driven.
Should have excellent verbal and oral communication and presentation skills.
Should work independently in a small, innovative and effective team.
Must be willing and have the ability to commute to Tema for work.
Must have a clean driver’s license and able to drive
Must be willing to travel within the regions of Ghana and to other West African countries

Other Job Requirement
Must have the ability to gain technical product knowledge within a short period
Must have worked in a manufacturing or industrial sector such as Mining, Food/Beverage, Water, Power
Keep abreast of competitor activity and recommend any necessary tactical action
Develop marketing and promotional activities including trade shows and workshops with management
Project management on tenders and bid
Maintain high standard of personal presentation
Represent company in a professional manner at all times
Undertake ad-hoc projects pursued by management of the company

Company will pay a base salary, full contribution to Social Security, and sales commission for leads developed and maintained independently by successful candidate.
