Background:
Our company is a consultancy and advisory firm, focussed on advisory both private and public sector clients on infrastructure developments across the Africa Region. The infrastructure spectrum that AISL covers includes power, renewables, utilities, municipal finance and transportation.
AISL activities include:
Private clients:
supporting market scoping for infrastructure developments; supporting international clients in their engagements with governments and local partners; supporting clients in their project development and financing activities; and playing the Arranger role for debt raising;
Public clients:
supporting public clients in negotiation of transaction documents with private sector counterparts; providing advice on investment climate related to the infrastructure sector, especially in the power markets.
Responsibilities
The candidate will support the AISL team by coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
Responsibilities include ensuring the
appropriate functioning of the corporate office, including:
Managing all office external services;
Payments of office utility rates;
Maintaining office equipment, furniture and office supplies;
Managing key staff agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc.; managing phone calls, correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.);
Creating and updating records and databases with personnel, financial and other data;
Submitting timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned.
Selection Criteria
An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification
At least 3 years’ experience as an Office Administrator or Executive Assistant, ideally for a finance institution
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
