Java Analyst Programmer ($35K Or Above)

We are now recruiting a contract role for our client in public sector for providing ongoing support and enhancements services to the existing midrange systems.

Duties:

* Provide production support
* To write programs and/or enhance/maintain existing programs
* Prepare and conduct testing including function tests, load tests, resilience tests, backup and recovery tests, disaster recovery drills, etc.
* Support user acceptance tests
* Support system rollout
* Prepare system documentation
* Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

* Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology or equivalent
* At least 3 years working experience in IT in which 1-year experience in similar capacity
* Hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Spring Framework, SQL and XML processing
* Strong trouble shooting skill is a must
* Solid experience in object-oriented system design and development is an advantage
* Good command of Cantonese, written and spoken English
* Good team player, strong sense of responsibility, work independently and commitment to achieve high quality results
