A reputable environmental non-governmental organization (NGO) in Ghana is looking for a multi-skilled candidate with a sound background for the position of a Field Coordinator. The Field Coordinator supervises other field activities within the Enchi enclave of the Western North regions of Ghana.

Job Description
Develops and implements programs to ensure ecological protection and human welfare especially for local communities.
Supports in the development of programs that offer additional livelihoods to local communities.
Determines natural resources management program needs and opportunities in an assigned geographic or program area and coordinates with programs in other divisions within the organization as well as public, civil society, or private groups.
Oversees the inventory, use, and maintenance of equipment and facilities used for natural resources management.
Conducts projects and prepares studies and reports.
Develops and maintains partnership with national and international institutions within the Enchi enclave.
Performs any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualification and Requirements
At least a Bachelors’ degree in Natural Resource Management, Geography, Environmental Management, Forestry, Community Development or a related field.
Females are particularly encouraged to apply and are preferred candidates.
Preference will be given to females who are resident in Enchi and its environs.
Working knowledge on initiatives such as REDD+, Climate Change, Community Resource Management Areas (CREMAs), would also be an advantage.
Technical competencies - innovative, analytical skills. excellent management, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication, report writing and computer skills.
An in-depth understanding of field and scientific study related to natural resource management.
