Job Description
Role:
FairMoney is recruiting a country launcher with a startup mindset to launch its operations in Ghana, from 0 to 1
Opportunity:
Start from 0 our subsidiary and own the venture development with high level of responsibility, many challenges & initiatives to be taken and remote coordination with our Expansion Manager. If you are doing well you could be promoted to the head of operations in the new country
Preferred Experience
Location:
Ghana (Accra)
Responsibilities:

Build a MVP of a (manual) loan product for a new market and improve it with competitive benchmarks/operations feedback

Manage the loan process from A to Z: client acquisition (digital marketing), client selection, loan disbursement, collection - give loans manually

Build a team to grow the volume

Interaction with high-level stakeholders (Lending licence, partnerships, …)

General administration of the company’s subsidiary (bank, admin, office)

Weekly detailed reporting: loan volume, loan collection, default rate

Requirements:

Fluent in English and willing to relocate in Ghana (Accra)

Education : Master/MBA student from a top business school/university

Entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to get hands dirty at all times

Data-driven and KPI-oriented approach to maximize the efficiency of all the operations

In love with FairMoney mission to enhance access to finance for the underbanked

Previous internships in startups, consulting, or investment banking is a plus
