Role PurposeAs a Manager within Channel Management, you would be responsible for securing and delivering high specification commercial channels across the whole of Ghana. The role focuses on new channel (owned, franchise or other partners) openings, commercial channel extensions and re fits in Ghana. The Manager will support our existing remit by acting as a centre of excellence to drive Commercial Channel standards (specifically Retail but to cut across all Channels as appropriate) to an impeccable level.Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership• Engage with SCM, contractors and other third parties as required.• Be able to engage with Internal customers all levels (Marketing, SCM, Property, Health and Safety)• Ensures refurbishments and build will meet the our Customer Experience objectives of seamless frontline execution• Build commercial channels that will confirm to Group wide Retail & Distribution policy and standards.• Working in a matrix organisation and indirect FTE i.e., work with office based and external suppliers• Build world class commercial channels aligned to Group wide Retail & Distribution strategy.Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience• Proactive and enthusiastic style.• Experience of managing major commercial refurbishment and build projects• Shop fit experience• Project Management experience: You will be able to manage multiple, simultaneous projects keeping them on budget and delivering them on time & to a high standard• Excellent communication & influencing skills: You will have the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and across departments• Numerate and strong attention to detail: Able to manage budgets as allocated• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and innovatively to make needed business decisions.• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and resourceful in achieving success while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.Technical and Professional Qualification-Minimum of a post graduate degree or its equivalent in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or a related subject.-Minimum of 8 years' experience in FMCG or a related fieldEffective team playerNot a perfect fit?Worried that you don't meet all the desired criteria exactly?
